Every SteamEco trap is sized from your actual pressure and condensate load — we calculate each nozzle individually rather than selling a generic catalogue size. All bodies are stainless steel, flanged to your standard, and install at any angle.

The workhorse for process duties with high and stable condensate loads. The multi-orifice nozzle package is calculated for your exact duty and can be exchanged when the plant is expanded or re-rated.
A venturi element combined with a bimetallic element, built for steam distribution and tracing lines where live steam loss is the main cost driver. The wide working range tolerates pressure fluctuation across the whole header.

Heating and holding kettles, batch cookers and any duty where condensate load swings widely. Capacity is adjusted on-line with a spindle that preserves the venturi flow characteristic across its travel.
A prefabricated vertical module that combines the steam distribution header, condensate collection header, pre-insulated tracing bundles and a valved trap station in one forgeworks assembly in 304 stainless steel.

| Application | Recommended series | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Heat exchangers, evaporators, reboilers, air heaters | SE-D | High, stable condensate load; continuous discharge keeps heat transfer at its best |
| Saturated & superheated steam mains, headers | SE-Z | Zero leakage on lines where traps run light but constantly |
| Steam tracing bundles and jacketed piping | SE-Z / tracing station | Low capacity, wide range; prefabricated station cuts installation cost |
| Batch kettles, heating/holding vessels, sterilisers | SE-DT | Load swings handled by on-line capacity adjustment |
| High-pressure service up to 9.0 MPa, flows to 156 t/h | SE-D / SE-DT | Proven on a PTA main plant at 9.0 MPa and 156 t/h |
304 / 316 stainless steel, forged or cast; flanged ends per EN / ASME / GB standard
Low pressure to 9.0 MPa — nozzle calculated per operating point
From a few kg/h on tracing up to 156 t/h on PTA high-pressure duty
≤ 0.1% (SE-DT); effectively zero on SE-D / SE-Z in normal operation
Any orientation — horizontal, vertical, inverted; no elevation head required
10–20 years body life; warranty 3–10 years depending on series and duty
No scheduled inspection or shutdown; SE-Z strainer cleaned in line
Hydrostatic shell test + hot steam operational test, per GB/T 12251 & 22654
SteamEco traps keep the same function, flange dimensions and connection sizes as the mechanical traps they replace — float, inverted bucket or thermodynamic. No piping modification, no re-rating of supports, just bolt it in.
Steam pressure, condensate load and connection size are all we need to propose the right series and nozzle. Sizing calculation and quotation within 2 working days.
